About NBA Accreditation of CSE department

An engineering college that has NBA accreditation, carries the stamp of recognition for its education quality assurance both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Colleges are periodically evaluated for stringent NBA accreditation criteria with the purpose that they are on par with international best practices. Our institution has accredited with NBA in Tier-II for UG, Computer Science, and Engineering during the academic year 2019-2020 and re-accredited during 2022. This accreditation is valid till 2025. During NBA accredited period, students got the opportunities to be deemed for graduated with an NBA accredited degree.

  • Rathinam Technical Campus has set up a Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Blockchain Technology with an objective to promote its use and facilitate rapid adoption & on-boarding of Blockchain-based solutions.
  • The CoE will foster stronger collaboration between the government, public and private sectors to ensure that the latest technological tools and frameworks are available for use in different dimensions of governance.
  • Blockchain technology offers a secure, verifiable way to maintain an encrypted accounting ledger of business transactions across multinational borders.
  • This could significantly affect the way that businesses account for business transactions and track products in multinational supply chains.
  • Other promising applications of blockchain and cognitive analytics include financial services, interbank and intra bank fund transfers, insurance, and health care.
  • Blockchain is a revolutionary technology that enables peer-to-peer transfer of digital assets without any intermediaries and is predicted to be just as impactful as the Internet.
  • This specialization in Computer Science Engineering gives students:
    • An understanding and working knowledge of foundational Blockchain concepts
    • A skill set for designing and implementing smart contracts
    • Methods for developing decentralized applications on the Blockchain
    • Information about the ongoing specific industry-wide Blockchain frameworks
  • The specialization also covers a range of essential topics, from the cryptographic underpinnings of Blockchain Technology to enabling decentralized applications on a private Blockchain platform
  • This program will provide a broad overview of the essential concepts of Blockchain Technology – by initially exploring the Bitcoin protocol followed by laying the foundation necessary for developing applications and programming
  • It will also teach our graduates to design, code, deploy and execute a smart contract – the computational element of the Blockchain Technology
