Club Media encourage the  student’s innovation through photography, to share and analyze the photographs of peers, to educate and improve technical skills, and to spread the love of photography.

Rules and Guidelines:

  • Any one of the given theme can be taken and minimum of five (05) photos has to be presented in the selected theme.
  • The photograph must be original and no watermark of any kind should be on the photograph.
  • Only one entry is allowed per photographer
  • Participants may send photographs JPEG, PDF, or PNG (No RAW or PSD image files accepted).
  • It can be in Landscape/Portrait mode.
  • Contestants are not allowed to digitally alter, remove or change objects in a photograph or add special effect enhancements to photo submissions in the following categories: People, Scenic Nature, Abstract / Conceptual.
  • Adult content of any kind will not be entertained and would lead to direct disqualification.

Format of submit your Photos:
The photograph must be sent to this whatsapp number 8608023006 (Mr. Jafrin Shariff H) on or before Day1: November 13, 2021, 11:59 AM & Day2: November 15, 2021, 11:59 AM with the following format:

  • Name
  • Department
  • Date/Period of capturing the photograph
  • Caption of the photograph

DRAWING, PAINTING AND CRAFTING CLUB

The Motto of this Club is to encourage and support  students to actively participate in Painting and Crafting. The Club makes students to manifest their creativity, emotions and nurture their happiness.

Dance and Music Club

Aim of the Club:

The club aims at shaping the individuals to bring the best out of them in all the aspects and inculcating the values simultaneously to make their life focused and happier by providing various positive engagements in form of dance and music

The objective of the Music Club:

  • To identify and encourage the Music Talent among the students
  • To encourage the club members for competitive participation in various music-based events conducted inside and outside the campus

The objective of Dance Club:

  • To encourage the students towards having an interest in dance and extracurricular activities.
  • To participate in All India Dance competitions and represent our institution at global stages.
  • To promote healthy competition and the environment with other college students.
  • To create a veritable avenue for culture and tradition through dance.
  • To encourage the purpose of unity among students through dance.

Feminist Club

Aim of the Club:

An institution in which, women attain their full potential and are able to participate as equal partners in all spheres with accelerated efforts to achieve empowerment and influence the power of social change.

To forge an effective and combined effort to enable the process of developing policies, programs, and practices that will ensure equal rights and opportunities to women in empowering themselves.

Objectives:

  • To promote a culture of respect and equality for the female gender.
  • To aim at intellectual and social upliftment of the female students and faculty members.
  • To ensure personality along with the academic development of students.
  • To make them avail opportunities to train women accordingly.
  • To inculcate among the young women a sense of social commitment.
  • To explore their intuitive talents and utilize them to the maximum in the social spheres of endeavors.
  • To provide training for women so that they become empowered in their younger age thereby making them self-sustainable in the society.

Media Club (Photography)

Aim of the Club:

The art or practice of capturing and processing photographs is called photography. Photography is all about the study of light, composition, and a good understanding of the equipment. The photography club of Rathinam Technical Campus organizes activities to enable the members to get a chance to learn photography, utilize their camera to the fullest, and become sensitized to the world around us.

Objectives:

Having an in-group critique of photographs that members have taken at least once a month. This helps members of the club receive and administer constructive criticism in a positive environment and encourages the improvement of photography skills.

Having at least one photography-related outing per semester. This gives the members of the club an opportunity to test their photography skills outside of the school environment with each other.

Promoting photography throughout the campus. This can be done by posting pictures taken by the club around the school to demonstrate the photography skills of the members of the club while simultaneously advertising for more members to join.

Nature Club

Aim of the Club:

To sensitize, motivate and educate students and staff about environment conservation. To create awareness among society about the environment and related issues. Organizing activities to reduce pollution in the environment. Encouraging efforts to protect and conserve biodiversity in the vicinage.

Objectives:

  • To create awareness among the RTC students about the environment and related issues. Encouraging efforts to protect and conserve biodiversity in the vicinage.
  • Executing small-scale projects within the campus.
  • Contributing to environmental awareness and conservation drives in collaboration with regional nature clubs and institutes.

RISE Club

Aim of the Club:

  1. To hone the flair towards the English Language among the RTC students.
  2. To encourage the students to meaningfully exercise their rights for freedom of speech through the English Language.

Objectives:

Events are classified into

  1. Performing Arts
  2. Creative Writing
  3. Information and Communication Technology (ICT)

Execution

  1. Selection of Student coordinators.
  2. To conduct a meeting with Student Coordinators every fortnight to conduct the events.
  3. To create a Facebook page, Twitter page for the “ELEGANCE FOR ELOQUENCE” Club and encourage students to keep a portfolio for their productions.
  4. To conduct one event every fortnight and submit the report to Club Chief Coordinators.
  5. A time frame of 30 minutes for Creative writing and ICT and a maximum of 1 hour for Performing Arts

Aim of the Club:

  1. To provide a successful discussion among the students to share recent technologies
  2. To complete at least one product before the end of the month

Objectives:

  • Creating awareness among the RTC students about innovative ideas.
  • Executing small-scale projects within the campus.
  • Motivate Students to draft patents

Tamil Association

Aim of the Club:

  • To motivate the students in the active learning process of Tamil Language
  • To inculcate the habit of being exposed  to the rich TAMIL Literature

Objectives:

Organizing various events like Tamil Elocution, Debates, and writing Competitions to motivate the students to think in their mother tongue.
