The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology and Civil Engineering organized “A National Level Technical Symposium named RDINAZ’19” for the year 2019-2020 on17-10-2019.
The Grand Session began with its Inaugural function at 10:00 A.M in RTC Auditorium.Mr.R.Saravana Kumar, Ex-Director, Cognizant Technology Solutions at Coimbatore was the Chief Guest for this occasion. The other dignitaries include Dr.T.Nithyanandham (Chief Operations), Prof.S.Syed Shajahaan (Head of the Department, CSE), Dr.P.Krishna Kumar (Head of the Department, Civil Engineering), Teaching and non-teaching faculty members of CSE, IT and Civil Engineering. It started with the auspicious note of invoking the almighty in the form of prayer song, which was followed by lighting the kuthuvilakku by the dignitaries. Ms.Sulfiya and Ms.Charumathi (III-IT) welcomed the gathering by their universal welcome address.
Dr.T.Nithyanandham, Chief Operations spreaded the goodness by his intellectual presidential address. He motivated the students to participate in all the events conducted by the colleges. His speech made the students to think out of the box. Followed by his address, the chief guest was honoured with shawls and memento.
Mr.R.Saravana Kumar, the Chief Guest gave the inaugural address. His motivational speech about “Self ideas for success” which helped the students to improve their ideas related to current scenario. The Inaugural function was concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs.Sharmila, AP/CSE. The symposium started with its technical and non-technical events by 11.00 A.M.
The total number of external participants is 50 from the various colleges around Tamilnadu, which includes Ramakrishna Engineering College, Sri Krishna Polytechnic, SNS College of Technology, Hindusthan Institute of Technology, Ramakrishna mission vidyala arts and science, Rathinam College of arts and science, Loyala College and Karpagam institute of Technology and also internal students has participated in various events.
Valedictory was conducted around 4.00 P.M. Valuable feedback was given by the participants from other colleges. The Winners of the events conducted were appreciated by awards and prizes by the HOD’s. The occasion was ended with National Anthem to expose the patriotism.
