We specialize in manufacturing, exporting, improving, supplying, trading, and distributing high-quality hydraulic cylinders and power packs. As Fluid Power Engineers, we take pride in offering a diverse range of Fluid and Motion Control Solutions, including Hydraulic Power Packs, Intensifiers, and Cylinders. Our valued clientele includes renowned companies like Korba, Macfield, Fluid Power Care, Chennai, and ELGI equipment’s. With an annual turnover of approximately Rs. 5 Crore, we continue to excel in our industry. This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), effective as of August 23, 2023, is a collaborative agreement between the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Rathinam Technical Campus, Coimbatore, and M/s Fluid Power Machines Private Limited, Coimbatore, spanning a period of three years. The MoU documents were formally exchanged on August 23, 2023, by Mr. V.S. Kannan, the proprietor, and Dr. K. Geetha, our Vice Principal. The signing ceremony was attended by the IQAC director, Placement officer, all Department heads, and mechanical Faculty members. 

SPI Equipments India (P) Limited

Department of Mechanical Engineering, Rathinam Technical Campus has signed a Virtual MoU with SPI Equipments India (P) Limited, Coimbatore, and Inaugurated Center of Excellence for Robotics and Automation. SPI Equipments India ( P) Limited is a Robotics based company that fully deals with automation and new product developments. The MoU will be much useful to Mechanical Students, they can undergo hands-on training; can develop high knowledge in the field of Robotics. The departments planned to conduct free training to all Mechanical students in the field of Automation. The MoU helps the students to undergo Industrial Training, Projects, and Placements, explore themselves in the latest developments, and to bring out their innovative skills.
The MoU signing and Inauguration of Center of Excellence for Robotics and Automations have been done virtually where all the Students, Faculty members, industrialists have seen the ceremony live telecast. The Presidential Address was given by Dr.Madan A Sendhil Chairman, Rathinam Group of Institutions and Inaugural Address was given by Mr.A.Dhana Kumar, Managing Director, SPI Equipments India ( P) Limited. He delivers that the Mechanical Students are having good opportunities if they involve in the core field and learn the basics in-depth. They should expert themselves in the industrial drawing and to update themselves in the latest developments in the core fields.

EMC2

IEEE

IEEE stands for the “Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers”. The association is chartered under this full legal name. IEEE’s membership has long been composed of engineers and scientists. For this reason, the organization no longer goes by the full name, except on legal business documents, and is referred to simply as IEEE.The vision of the committee is to bring into notice the shift in technology in the current world and how a new stack of technologies is being created which includes Nano, green, mobile, converged systems, cognitive computing, cloud computing, data science, the web, social ,IOT, Robotics.Collaboration between government, professional community, industry and academia will be increased by focusing on open source and including open data, open innovation along with Standards development, Interoperability test beds, workshops, Design Challenges, Internships, and Scholarships.A huge focus will be made on “TECH” that is Training, Enhanced Events, Collaboration, Hi-tech .The primary objectives of the committee are to mobilize participation from industries with the focus on Entrepreneurship, New technologies such as IOT, Cloud Computing, Smart Cities, Smart Grid and increasing industries and academia collaboration. The committee will be executing enhanced tracks in major R10 events at TENCON in Singapore, TENSYMP in Bali and SMARTTECH in Sydney, Pune, and China. Training sessions are planned with regular webinars and workshops on leading technologies around the Region. Other planned initiatives include Industry outreach programs.
Computer Society of India is the first and largest body of computer professionals in India. It was started on 6 March 1965 by a few computer professionals and has now grown to be the national body representing computer professionals. It has 71 chapters across India, 418 student branches, and more than 90,000 members.The Computer Society of India is a non-profit professional meet to exchange views and information learn and share ideas. The wide spectrum of members is committed to the advancement of theory and practice of Computer Engineering and Technology Systems, Science and Engineering,Information Processing and related Arts and Sciences. The Society also encourages and assists professionals to maintain integrity and competence of the profession and fosters a sense of partnership amongst members. Besides the activities held at the Chapters and Student Branches, the Society also conducts periodic conferences, seminars.CSI has also been in close liaison with International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) since its inception in 1965. The tie up of Rathinam with the society is indeed a great boon for the students and staffs to discover more the field of technology.The students can also become a life time member and are encouraged to pursue the projects, attend and take part in the various useful seminars and conferences and are also having advantage to access the digital library.In a nutshell, this is the great opportunity for the students to have a bright and successful future with a platform for their talent-bug to come out with a never-ending shine.

University of Nairobi

The University of Nairobi (UON), a collegiate research university located in Nairobi, is the largest university in Kenya. The University of Nairobi was ranked number 1 of all public and private Universities in Kenya and ranked number 1479 worldwide by the web metric ranking in 2012.Rathinam on perceiving the rising quest for education in Kenya has established a tie-up with this university. Our campus has been a hub for African students for many years. This university also has a tie-up with the World Bank regarding the youth partnership initiative. Through this initiative, the World Bank will tap into the youth’s fresh insights and work together towards the development. Common areas of research will be identified and proposal for funding will be developed.
